The 2.5G SFP BIDI Optical Transceiver Series enables bidirectional 2.5Gbps transmission over a single strand of single-mode fiber (SMF), leveraging wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) technology to maximize fiber efficiency. Designed for distances from 20KM to 120KM, the series features paired variants (MA-A and MA-B) with reversed wavelength configurations to ensure full-duplex communication.

  • 20KM-40KM Models: Use 1310nm/1550nm wavelength pairs, ideal for metropolitan area networks (MANs) and regional telecom backhaul.
  • 80KM-120KM Models: Employ 1490nm/1550nm wavelengths to minimize signal loss over ultra-long distances, suitable for intercity backbone networks and national telecom infrastructure.
