The SH-GM480016 industrial-grade L2 managed switch comes with three types of ports for versatile connectivity: 16×10/100/1000M RJ45 copper ports, 8 groups of Gigabit optical-electrical multiplexing ports, and 4x10G SFPs. The 16 copper ports handle high-density local terminal access, easily linking devices like industrial controllers and IP cameras. The 8 optical-electrical multiplexing groups add flexibility—users can choose either Gigabit copper or optical transmission for each group, adapting to mixed wiring environments (e.g., combining existing copper cables and new fiber links). Meanwhile, the 4x10G SFPs focus on high-bandwidth backbones, enabling ultra-fast data transfer for cross-site communication or large-volume real-time data needs.

A core advantage of this switch is its reliable ring network support. It enables ERPS ring networks and offers a one-click ring network function, simplifying deployment even for teams with limited on-site technical experience. It also strictly complies with the G.8032 ERPS Ethernet ring network protection switching protocol, with a self-healing time of within 20 milliseconds. When network failures occur—such as fiber breaks, copper cable damage, or port malfunctions—it rapidly restores connectivity, ensuring uninterrupted communication for critical industrial applications like real-time production control or safety monitoring systems.
